Reality
In the liminal spaces of the universe things are beyond the comprehension of a material mind. A mind constrained by the material world, unable to reach further than the sum of its parts. For most of us this will always be whether we recognise this or not, we are unable to reach those places that negate boundaries.
For some, the transition is made, sometimes only a glance of eternality, others can place themselves within and without of these places at will. These beings are for some religious, alien beyond and above us ,to others they have achieved beyond the limit of the physical and yet remain in it.
In places and times that we insert ourselves, are we in fact living in reality when reacting with the material world or when we are reacting within what some refer to as a subconscious or mental realm? Dreams, being the most obvious of these examples, still elude us in their meaning or purpose, we strive towards understanding and perhaps the old cliché of the journey itself bearing fruits rather than the destination that will best describe what is it that we can achieve within our own limitations both cerebrally and spiritually.
For, what is reality but the one thing we cannot define? If we cannot define such a thing to a degree of scientific fact, how can we accept our lives without knowing what is real and what is not? Most of us do this by merging the two concepts together; material/physical , worldly/divine sometimes grabbing at these concepts to the detriment of all logical thought until they are meaningless and without form, diverse beyond our ability to categorise and therefore more comforting, more “real”. For without an understanding of what is real or without a proper examination of this, how can we even begin to assert in such a thing as reality?
